(Rochester, WA) South Sound Speedway hosted a full night of racing on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with five divisions on the schedule and a full slate of main-event action.
*Busted MC / Blacklake Auto Wrecking Tuners: 22 cars, 24 laps.
*NW Focus Midgets: 9 cars, 30 laps.
*FSCRA / Super 4s: 7 cars, 30 laps.
*Pro 4 Trucks: 12 trucks, 35 laps.
*Bump to Pass: 10 cars, 20 laps.
Busted MC / Blacklake Auto Wrecking Tuners Main Event
Zac Cefaratti started on the pole with Brady Smith alongside him. Smith led lap 1, but the race quickly became a contest among several drivers.
Cefaratti, Jeremy Barabe, John Peterson, Tim Jordan, Louie A’ndrea, Jordan Peterson, and Jake Utterback each spent time at the front during the caution-free 24-lap race. Jordan Peterson took the checkered flag for the Tuner main-event win.
*Top five: Jordan Peterson, Billy Gallwas, Mike Myers, Jake Utterback, and Tim Jordan.
*Heat winners: Mike Myers won Heat 1, Dean Utterback won Heat 2, and Jeremy Barabe won Heat 3.
NW Focus Midgets Main Event
Riley Deaver started on the pole with Corey Boyle on the outside and took the lead on lap 1. Joe Shawley brought out the first caution after spinning in turn 2 on lap 5, then brought out a second caution after spinning several times on the front stretch on lap 22. Deaver held on to win the 30-lap main event.
*Top five: Riley Deaver, Jason Thomas, Corey Boyle, Curt Boyle, and DeDe Shawley.
*Fast time: Jason Thomas, 14.098.
*Heat winners: Curt Boyle won Heat 1, and Joe Shawley won Heat 2.
FSCRA / Super 4s Main Event
Bob Quarterman started on the pole with Vic Rogers on the outside. Rogers led lap 1 before Craig Neves took over on lap 3. Tommy Laxson moved into the lead on lap 16 and went on to win the 30-lap Super 4s main event.
*Top five: Tommy Laxson, Craig Neves, Jeff Jones, Vic Rogers, and Gilbert Chamberlain.
*Fast time: Tommy Laxson, 14.513.
*Heat winner: Craig Neves.
Pro 4 Trucks Main Event
Ashley Rasmussen started on the pole with Pete Brady on the outside. Brady took the lead on lap 1. The race saw three cautions: Dillon Downey spun on the front stretch on lap 14, Rasmussen spun in turn 4 on lap 17, and Mac Angeledes spun in turn 4 on lap 24. Tommy Laxson took the lead on lap 22 and went on to win the 35-lap main event.
*Top five: McKenna Cox, Pete Brady, Greg Vaughn, Rod Helmuth, and Jeremy Howe.
*Fast time: McKenna Cox, 16.096.
*Heat winners: Jeremy Howe won Heat 1, and Pete Brady won Heat 2.
Bump to Pass Main Event
Cole Bernard started on the pole with Landon Timlick on the outside. Josh Sitherwood led lap 1 before Rick Yargus moved ahead on lap 4. A caution came out on lap 9 to address a tire issue and clear Brandan Dale from the backstretch. Tony Timlick took the lead on lap 10, but Yargus regained it on lap 16 and went on to win the 20-lap Bump to Pass main event.
*Top five: Rick Yargus, Tony Timlick, Josh Sitherwood, Elijah Whitney, and Crimson Vincent.
*Fast time: Rick Yargus, 17.406.
Bump to Pass / Boat winner: Crimson Vincent, followed by Rick Yargus and Landon Timlick.
