Adna 3, NW Christian (Lacey) 0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-19)
(Adna, WA) The Adna Pirates swept the Northwest Christian (Lacey) Timberwolves 3-0 in a non-league match on Wednesday in Adna. The Pirates controlled the first two sets cruising to comfortable wins.
Adna finished off the first set with a nice defensive rally putting pressure on the Timberwilves back line. In the 2nd set, Adna jumped out to a big lead and never took the pressure off with a big 25-9 victory.
In the 3rd set the Pirates looked like they were going to end the match rather quickly building a 23-12 lead. But credit the Timberwolves for not giving in and went on a 7-1 run to pull within 24-19 before the Pirates ended the set and match.

The Adna Pirates evened their season record at 2-2 and will travel to Montesano tomorrow with a match time of 6:30pm. Northwest Christian (Lacey) drops to 3-2 on the year and they also have a match Thursday night at 6:30pm when they host Pope John Paul II.
