Adna 38, Napavine 6

(Adna, WA) The top of the Central 2B west football standings are a three-way tie. And it’s a true tie as Adna defeated Napavine, Napavine beat Forks, and Forks beat Adna. If the three teams finish with wins next week, they’ll have a playoff to determine the first, second and third seeds. The top three seeds will cross over the following week to play the top three seeds of the Central 2B East. Onalaska, undefeated, currently tops that division with Toledo currently in second, third is still wide open.

Adna knew they needed a win on this senior night at Adna High School against their crosstown rival Napavine and they jumped out to an early lead, going up 8-0 in the first quarter.

Napavine would answer with a nice drive but miss the extra point and trailed 8-6. That would be the last time the Tigers would find the end zone as Adna then just pulled away throughout the rest of the game for an easy 38-6 victory. Leading the Pirates on offense was Beau Miller, who finished with three touchdowns.
