(Rochester, WA) South Sound Speedway hosted a busy night of racing on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The program
included the CSM Heating, Cooling, Roofing & Solar South Sound Modifieds; Legends; Bandoleros;
Crown Stock; and the NW Focus Midgets.
CSM Heating Cooling, Roofing & Solar South Sound Modifieds Main Event
The 9-car, 35-lap South Sound Modified feature began with Dan Walker on the pole and Riley Watson on
the outside. Walker took the lead on lap 1. On lap 27, turn 2, Walker got into Riley Watson, spinning him
and bringing out caution number 1. Kalob Watson took the lead on lap 28 and went on to win the main
event.
Top five: Kalob Watson, Monte Cox Jr., Jesse Sharp, Dan Walker, and Riley Watson.
Fast time: Riley Watson 14.970.
Heat winners: Royce Iverson won heat race #1, and Kalob Watson won heat race #2.
Champion: Dan Walker.
Crown Stock Main Event
The 12-car, 35 lap Crown Stock feature began with Donnie Steele starting on the pole with Alex Kieff to
his outside. Steele took the lead on lap 1. On lap 16, turn 3, Steven Gomes spins, bringing out caution
number #1. Steele goes on to win the main event.
Top five: Donnie Steele, Travis McGregor, Tommy Hecker, Alex Kieff, and Layla Jolie.
Fast time: Donnie Steele 17.954 (new track record).
Heat winners: Layla Jolie won heat race #1, and Donnie Steele won heat race #2.
Champion: Donnie Steele.
Legend Main Event
The 11-car, 35-lap Legends feature began with Roland McPeake on the pole and Dylan Wolf on the outside.
McPeake took the lead on lap 1 and went on to win the main event.
Top five: Roland McPeake, Dylan Wolf, Madi Weber, Josh Wharton, and Rick McNeill.
Fast time: Roland McPeake 15.565.

Bandolero Main Event
The 8-cars, 15-lap Bandolero feature began with TJ Schlund on the front row. TJ Schlund took the lead on
lap 1. Thatcher Olsen took the lead on lap 8 and went on to win the main event.
Top five: Thatcher Olsen, Rylan Presley, Ryder Jones, Chase Hormann, and Karsen Schlund.

The 8-cars, 30-lap Midget feature began with Riley Deaver on the pole and Jason Thomas on the outside.
Deaver took the lead on lap 1. Thomas took the lead on lap 27 and went on to win the main event.
