Mauricio Pochettino had just 2 years to get a World Cup roster in place. This time around he has a new contract and 4 years to get his squad together and make adjustments. The coach put out his first lineup after the World Cup and it is missing some pretty big names. Some of those players were left off the roster due to injuries and some just to give some new guys a chance to get some experience at the highest level.
Of the 28 players on the roster 13 are uncapped and have an average age of under 20. The most notable is 16 year old Cavan Sullivan who plays for the Philadelphia Union in MLS. Sullivan will be 20 when the 2030 World Cup is held.
